Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce was a game created for the PSP to cash in on the Japanese Monster Hunter craze but was later released for the Xbox 360 and PS3.  As with most online RPGs this game is pretty much all about collecting loot, or in this case ingredients, to make better equipment or to upgrade your town. The game’s shortened nature and smaller scale makes the game perfect to have a quick blast on. Make sure you know people who play this before buying if you intend to go online as the online function, while fully functioning and fun with friends, is barren if you are trying to hunt for a public game.

The game also discards most of the realism aspect of the standard games. This means it has a ton of crazy enemies and random generals going ‘super sayian’ and out of the more recent Dynasty Warriors releases this is my favourite because it tries something new and works surprisingly well for a loot-based action RPG.

7/10
